Evergreen Beauty College was founded by Ms. Thi Trieu, who arrived in the United States in 1975 as a refugee from Vietnam, where she had been a teacher. After working as a janitor and then operating her own beauty salon, Ms. Thi decided she wanted to return to education. In 1996, Ms. Thi and her husband established Evergreen.
In the years since, she and her family members have built a thriving community of learners. EBC graduates have opened more than 200 shops, salons, and spas in the Seattle area alone. We’d love for you to join us.

Evergreen Beauty College is a fully licensed and accredited institution of learning. This means outside agencies have vetted our programs, teaching methods, and facilities to confirm that we offer quality instruction to students. We are:
- Nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Careers Art and Sciences (NACCAS)
- Licensed and approved by the Washington State Board of Cosmetology
- Licensed and approved by the Washington State Department of Health
- Licensed and approved by Workforce Training and Education Coordination Board under Chapter 28C.10

Other full-time beauty training programs require you to be in class for up to 10 hours a day. We know that’s not attainable for many students who have family responsibilities or who need to work while they study.
Our EverFlex scheduling means you only need to be on campus for four hours each day, and can complete other coursework online. It’s more convenient and more humane, and it also makes earning a qualification more accessible for more students. In addition, our network of seven Washington campus locations means you can choose to study closer to where you live and work.
Gain Practical Experience Plus Business Skills
Whichever program you choose, you’ll be taught by instructors with real-world experience who also understand technical skills in the field. You’ll learn by doing from the very start of your program, practicing skills on models, other students, and members of the public through our on-campus salons and spas. Then, we’ll help you prepare for licensure if it’s required for your chosen field.
We also go one step further: we offer business development classes that teach you the ins and outs of being an entrepreneur—everything from client relations to branding to balancing your books. When you complete your program, you can trust you’ll have the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to achieve your dreams.
